“Allan came recommended to us by a close friend who knew him well, from the initial meeting we knew we did not even have to meet anybody else, his work is amazing but even more than that he is a genuine, considerate guy who really knows his stuff and has excellent inter-personal skills that made us feel at ease. Being infront of the camera so much isn’t a normal experience but Allan is superb at preparing you and has an amazing ability to be everywhere on the day, get so many wonderful pictures and yet everybody commented that they didn’t even know he was there. “We met Allan at the Merchant Adventurer’s Hall wedding fair, he was one of several photographers we met that day but we found that Allan was not only the friendliest and most approachable but also the best priced as well!
Before the wedding Allan took us for a pre-wedding photo shoot at the Merchant Adventurer’s Hall, this gave us the opportunity to become accustomed to Allan and how he worked and we feel this contributed to the wonderful photographs that Allan took on our wedding day.
On the day of the wedding Allan arrived on time and was very well presented. He immediately put the bridal party at ease and blended into the background, taking various photographs whilst we were getting ready but he did not disturb or delay the preparation. During the wedding ceremony Allan took some lovely photographs in and around the church, he communicated well with the vicar and several guests commented how polite and courteous he was. At the reception Allan took some lovely romantic photographs outside without compromising our tight schedule.
Not long after we arrived back from our honeymoon we received an email from Allan providing full access to our wedding photographs. This allowed not only our guests to pick their favourites but for us to spend additional time deliberating over the ones we wanted for our printed album. We were very impressed with turnaround time Allan delivered from receipt of the album proof to the delivery of the final album and it was better than we could ever have hoped for!
