Jo & Alan | Wedding Photography | Sandburn Hall | York

Last month I photographed the wedding of Jo & Alan at St Mary’s Church in Haxby, York followed by the reception at Sandburn Hall, Flaxton. It started off with the threat of rain but actually gout really nice as the day went on. A lovely couple and great guests made for a fun day. Below are justa few of the shots from the day.

Sandburn Hall | Extension | Open Day | York

Last Friday I was lucky enough to be invited to the grand opening of the new extension at Sandburn Hall just outside of York. The new Sanderson Room & The Settle will be used to further expand the wedding and function capabilities that Sandburn can offer. First was a drinks reception and fantastic lunch followed with a Falconry display by SMJ Falconry & Crafts. As a York wedding photographer it’s great to see that venues are investing in expansion. Everyone had fun and it was an amazing sunny day. Jo & Alan | Pre-wedding Photography | Sandburn Hall

Summer weddings!

Wow the last few months have been really busy. July has been my busiest month yet with 6 weddings already done and another 2 to go. I’m at the Merchant Adventurers Hall tomorrow and Burythorpe House on Saturday. At the moment I have 13 weddings that I have not had chance to blog!

My plan is to try and get some of them posted in the next couple of weeks. I have had the pleasure of working with some fantastic couples at some great venues including Sandburn Hall, Goldsborough Hall, The Parsonage Hotel, Rudding Park, The Royal York Hotel, Gisborough Hall and Greys Court to name a few.
