Back in April I photographed the wedding of Sally & Andrew at the fabulous Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate. The whole day started with bridal preperation photographs in one of the luxury rooms. Andrew then arrived with the best man ready for main event! The day went really well and after a little rain dodging we managed to capture some great moments.

Ruth & Sean | Wedding Photography | The Bridge Hotel | Wetherby

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Ruth & Sean’s wedding at the Bridge Hotel just outside of Wetherby. The whole wedding including bridal preperation took place at the hotel. Another 50/50 day weather wise! sun, rain and so on! However it did not dampen the spirits and great moments were captured. Below is a slide show with a selection of shots from the day.

Last month I photographed the wedding of Jo & Alan at St Mary’s Church in Haxby, York followed by the reception at Sandburn Hall, Flaxton. It started off with the threat of rain but actually gout really nice as the day went on. A lovely couple and great guests made for a fun day. Below are justa few of the shots from the day.

At the end of March I had the pleasure of photographing Andrea & Chris’s wedding at All Saint’s Church in Owston. The reception took place at Wentbridge House near Pontefract. Wow what a morning! Not only is it my Birthday but the Queen decided to visit York as well!. Jacqui and I were up early to get the kids ready to go and see her Majesty. Stunning weather, amazing atmosphere armed with my 7D and 70-200 lens off I went to photograph what was to be a memorable occasion. Below are a few shots of this historic event. Enjoy!

Sandburn Hall | Extension | Open Day | York

Last Friday I was lucky enough to be invited to the grand opening of the new extension at Sandburn Hall just outside of York. The new Sanderson Room & The Settle will be used to further expand the wedding and function capabilities that Sandburn can offer. First was a drinks reception and fantastic lunch followed with a Falconry display by SMJ Falconry & Crafts. As a York wedding photographer it’s great to see that venues are investing in expansion.
